I have been doing community volunteering in sport for the last 8 years in my community called Rundu in Namibia. For the last 4 years I dedicated myself to get involved in a community project called Kavango – this is an under 17 Football League.

This league was formed by the community it with itself with the help of SCORE and Red Cross Namibia.

I became involved because I have three Teams that I am running as a coach and administrator. These three teams accommodate kids around my community, including truants and street kids, and they are divided in three age groups under 13, under 15 and under 17.

These age groups they are both playing in the same league because we don’t have funds for different leagues. At the moment I am part of the current league committee.
