Tell the world about yourself:
I work for the BBC, and for the last three years the World Service Trust. More specifically I spend a large part of my time working on iLearn: online journalism and media training aimed primarily at people in developing and transitional countries.
We've had projects in China, India, Iran, Nigeria, Somalia, Russia, Indonesia and a range of Middle East and North African countries.
One of the things I like is the variety of trainees, and I'm enjoying learning all about the sports for development sector.
At the Next Step conference I've been delivering training in writing for the web and images for the web (many of which appear here) and producing the yourgame2010.com website - we've been trying to capture as much as possible of it on the website, and I'd welcome images and articles you think belong here.
When not working I like reading, cooking and eating, playing football, travelling, going to the pub... quite dull really. I tend to cycle everywhere and soffer from decades of supporting Middlesbrough, which is my local team. Man U fans probably don't understand this last bit...
